My wife
Sandy has made it through another night and this has surprised us, but we know
that the Lord is totally in control of how many days we live, and so we are
trusting the Lord to do His will in the life of my wife. Our children have been with us since Monday
morning, bring our grandchildren to visit their grandmother each day. They are saddened just as their parents are
along with their grandparents. We know
that Sandy like all of us our in the hands of the Lord and He has given us a
great measure of grace in order to sustain us through this most difficult time
in our lives. Through this season of difficulties
the Lord has given me a song which was originally a poem by a great woman who
was born in the late 1800’s and her career as a school teacher was stopped because
of arthritis in her hands, but this did not stop her from writing some
wonderful poems. I will close with the lyrics
to this song that has been a blessing to me as I go through this most difficult
time ever in my life.
He giveth more grace when the
burdens grow greater
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase
To added affliction He addeth His mercy
To multiplied trials His multiplied peace
His love has no limit, His grace
has no measure
His pow'r has no boundary known unto men
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again
When we have exhausted our store of
endurance
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father's full giving is only begun
His love has no limit, His grace
has no measure
His pow'r has no boundary known unto men
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again
His love has no limit, His grace
has no measure
His pow'r has no boundary known unto men
For out of His infinite riches in
Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again
For out of His infinite riches in
Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again
