PT-1 God's Work is Consistent (2 Peter 3:5-7)

My Worship Time                                                          Focus:  PT-1 “God’s Work is Consistent”

Bible Reading & Meditation                                                 Reference:  2 Peter 3:5-7

            Message of the verses: 5  For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, 6  through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 But by His word the present heavens and earth are being reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men.”

            Peter is refuting the apostates by telling them what God had done in the past and thus prove that His work is consistent throughout the ages.  Peter presented the evidence that the false teachers deliberately ignored, and what they ignored was how God had created the heavens and the earth.  Verse fives uses the words “it escapes their notice that by the Word of God the heavens existed long ago,” and I mentioned in our last SD how Satan has attacked this truth by evolution using what people call science.  Now science is a good thing if you use it correctly and science can prove how old the earth is, but evolutionary science are all lies.  One short example of their lies is that when the first moon landing took place it was thought by these false scientists’ that space craft would sink down into the moon’s surface very deep because they thought since the creation was billions of years old that the dust on the moon would be unstable and this was a big worry for NASA.  The Bible shows us that the earth is about 6,000 years old, but if we believe that we are shunned because of the lies evolutionists tell us.

            Peter goes on to talk about creation and Noah’s flood, both seen in the book of Genesis and these he uses to refute the apostate scoffers.  Noah’s flood is another thing that the evolutionists cannot understand and so they lie about that too.  Before the flood the earth had a water shield around it and thus the entire earth was tropical.  Tropical fossils have been found in both polls, both North and South, and this proves that the earth was tropical before the flood.  The big hairy elephants are found frozen in the ice of the North Pole with food still in their mouths showing that there was a very quick freeze at one time in history, which Bible scientists believe happened at the flood when the earth was turned on its axes thus causing both polls to begin to have very cold weather.
